Since March last year I've had the pleasure of co-hosting Sunrise on Sky News every day from 6-9am with the best live TV presenter in the country, Eamonn Holmes. Although my alarm goes off at 03.15am I never tire of my early starts, it's a dream job and I count myself very lucky!
I've grafted hard to get where I am today and spent seven and a half years earning my stripes as a correspondent out in the field. During my career I've been involved in coverage of the Royal Wedding, the London Riots, the Arab Spring, the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the Olympics, the disappearance of April Jones, the death of Margaret Thatcher the chemical attack in Syria and most recently the disappearance of flight MH370 and the Oscar Pistorius Trial.
I've also had the pleasure of interviewing all sorts of people from David Beckham, Kylie Minogue and Simon Cowell to the Prime Minister.
I've previously presented and reported for commercial radio, for local, regional and national BBC News before being headhunted by Sky News in 2011, when I became their West of England Correspondent. .
Away from work I support the Cystic Fibrosis Trust as much as I can - as one of my best friend's is bravely living with the disease.
